Imagine speed dating but drawing instead of talking! Also nix the romance. We will sit in pairs across from each other and rotate after 5 minutes until everyone has been drawn. We will share all the portraits on the wall and see how everyone saw everyone. This is gonna be super chaotic in all the best ways! Collage Corpse with James Gallagher $30

A collective collage experience inspired by the classic Surrealist’s parlour game Exquisite Corpse. Professional collage artist? Never collaged a thing in your life? Either way you’re gonna enjoy this one! This workshop begins with a brief overview of the history of the medium with a focus on Dadaism. Participants will then engage in a series of collaborative collages that are passed around the class with surprising results. And everyone brings home their own Collage Corpse! Olé! Grab your sketchpads and let’s turn up the heat (don’t worry—the AC will be on). Join us for a drawing night where a flamenco dancer brings the fire, and you bring the flair. Watch the swirls, the stomps, and the drama unfold—then capture it all in your own unique style. Our dancer (TBD) will both perform and pose throughout the night. In conversation with journalist Joshua David Stein, we’ll hear what it’s like to live the flamenco life—maybe even pick up a move or two... or at least let our pencils do the dancing. Not a nude session.
